The Wave Rider Pro Elite 8.0

The Wave Rider Pro 8.0 is our high performance surf SUP designed for advanced SUP surfers looking to advance their wave riding skills and perform more maneuvers on the wave. With similar shaping characteristics as the 9.6, the 8.0 provides enhanced carving and turning ability in a shorter, lower volume board. New for 2021 our CSC Hybrid Construction (Carbon Sandwich Construction) combines fiberglass and paulownia wood veneer on the deck and bottom with carbon rails to provide a light weight performance board with stiffness and durability provided by the carbon rail outline. In a move towards more sustainable construction methods we are using paulownia wood in the construction. Paulownia is one of the worlds fastest growing timbers, and has ideal weight to strength properties.

Shapers Notes: At home in waves of all sizes, this surf specific SUP with its pointed piercing nose and swallow tail provides great acceleration and enhanced carving ability. Beginners up to 150 lbs or expert SUP surfers up to 215 lbs.
