The Catalina 14.0 EXP or EXPEDITION Edition is a revolutionary new design intended to expand the possibilities of SUP touring. The first of its kind in the industry, the Catalina 14.0 EXP has a built in storage hatch in front of the standing area to provide increased gear stowage, while at the same time lowering the centre of gravity of a fully loaded SUP. We’ve outfitted the EXP with multiple deck attachments for GoPro cameras, GPS, rod holders and navigational lighting, along with external handles on the rails, nose and tail for easy carrying. Shaped after the original Catalina 14.0 with displacement nose and ample volume to support substantial loads. With much of its volume through the forward deck area, the Catalina EXP is a super stable board. The ultimate in SUP touring, constructed using Blu Wave’s EBS Construction (Epoxy Bamboo Sandwich) and new for 2018 available in Blu Wave’s Carbon Sandwich Construction (CTC) bringing the weight down to 32 lbs.
